Bookmobile was first created to lend books because in the past library buildings are not as much as now and may be away from residential. Bookmobile has the same basic function as regular libraries, only it was in the vehicle and move to places where their readers are. Bookmobile collections usually slightly depending on how much capacity of the vehicle. Usually this is a program of school or social institutions to provide means for those who need a book or for the suburbs that don’t have library.
There is also a type of bookmobile that aims for social serving, which provides books for those or particularly children whose parents cannot afford or are in the middle to lower social status. Their library vehicle wraps with interesting picture and writing a campaign usually includes reading habits. Children love to wait for the arrival of bookmobile because they think the idea is unique, and proven that this facility can increase the child’s interest in reading, even for children who do not like reading.
As a brilliant idea, and the enormous influence given for improving children’s education, bookmobile should get more attention from us. They need additional books from time to time and the vehicles need to maintain, other than we also need the addition fleet so that the more target we can accomplish.
